About PyraNexus — Who Tests, How We Earn, Why Trust Us
About PyraNexus

We spend the money so you don't waste yours.

PyraNexus started in 2024 with a simple grievance: every "best tools" list on the internet was written by someone who never opened the tool. So we built a lab instead of a listicle farm. Five editors, fixed rubric, receipts for everything, and these days the bench is mostly physical: keyboards, grinders, watches, and whatever else claims a number we can measure.

Where the Money Comes From

Most review sites bury this. We lead with it: PyraNexus is funded by affiliate commissions. When you buy through our links, the vendor pays us a cut. You pay the same price either way.

The conflict of interest is real, so we engineered it out of the scoring. Here is the exact sequence, for every product, no exceptions.

  1. 01 We buy the product ourselves. No vendor-provided accounts, no press units we get to keep. Receipts are archived with every review.
  2. 02 The score locks before any partnership. Rubric scoring happens first and is versioned. Affiliate deals are negotiated after, by a different person.
  3. 03 Links are labeled, always. Every affiliate link carries rel="sponsored" and sits near a plain-language disclosure. If a page earns us money, you can tell at a glance.
  4. 04 Verdicts get re-tested. Products are re-scored on major releases or every 12 months, whichever comes first. When the verdict changes, the page changes, with a changelog.

Rules We Never Break

Printed on the wall of the lab. Literally.

¶1 A score can never rise because a commission did.
¶2 If we didn't use it for two weeks, we don't have an opinion.
¶3 Cons come before the buy button. Always.
¶4 A dead deal gets retired the day we find it, not the day it embarrasses us.
¶5 When we're wrong, the correction is louder than the mistake.
¶6 No review is finished. Verdicts carry dates and changelogs.
